A defense-tech investment
American-Ukrainian investment group MITS Capital has announced an investment in Dropla Tech, a Danish-Ukrainian miltech company founded by four Ukrainians in 2023 and headquartered in Odense. The company develops artificial intelligence systems for detecting explosive threats and modular unmanned ground vehicles that can respond to such threats.
The value of the deal and the company valuation were not disclosed. For Dropla Tech, the main point is not only capital but infrastructure: operational support across jurisdictions, access to a portfolio of Ukrainian defense companies, and a route toward NATO markets through the MITS acceleration platform.
Products and battlefield use
Dropla Tech's flagship product is Blue Eyes Warbox, an edge-AI system that detects and identifies mines, improvised explosive devices and ambush drones. It processes data from airborne sensors in real time at the tactical edge, without cloud connection. The system is codified in the NATO Stock Number system and is already deployed by Ukrainian military and security units.
The company also develops Dropla 4x4 and Dropla 6x6 UGV platforms for casualty evacuation, logistics, intelligence, remote weapon stations and counter-UAV missions. A third product, Dropla Seer, combines air and ground sensors with Blue Eyes AI processing for future humanitarian demining work.
Scaling between Ukraine and Europe
In 2025 Dropla Tech raised EUR 2.4 million from Maj Invest, Denmark's export and investment fund EIFO, Final Frontier and other investors. The company says confirmed explosive-threat detections in Ukraine grew to more than five thousand with accuracy above ninety percent. Its next ambition is to increase production capacity to three thousand UGVs per year under the Build with Ukraine logic.
