The bill has been accepted for consideration and, taking into account the mood of all the orthodox people of Ukraine, will soon be put into effect.
These are from the draft law on changes for churches under the Moscow patriarchate in Ukraine.
- All property of the Moscow patriarchate church and its leadership will be nationalized within 48 hours;
- Religious communities, within 14 days, can change their subordination, then the church property remains with them;
- The Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pecherska Lavra and the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra, and other architectural monuments of national importance owned or used by the Russian patriarchal church shall become the property of the state.
The Security service of Ukraine will study in detail the facts of the complicity of church officials with the occupiers and after the change of the subordination of church organizations, they will be prosecuted.
