Today, the 2nd attempt of the Polish Seimas to vote for the recognition of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism successfully ended. 231 members of the Seimas voted in favour of passing a resolution that makes Russia responsible for the terror against Ukraine and the destruction of the Boeing MH117 in 2014 and includes the Smolensk amendment. This amendment recognizes Russia as the culprit in the Smolensk catastrophe — a terrorist attack against the plane on board which was president Lech Kaczynski.
"The Russian Federation is directly responsible for the crash of the Polish Air Force in April 2010, which killed 96 people on board, including the president of the Republic of Poland, Lech Kaczynski," the Seimas of Poland.
On November 26, the Polish Seimas voted to recognize the Russian regime as a terrorist.
