The local self-government of the town of Irpin in the Kyiv region purchased a gas-piston power station, which will power the boiler house and critical infrastructure. The boiler house, which will be connected, will live with the heat of 70% of the citizens in houses, hospitals, schools, etc.
Also, generators for the restoration of the water supply have arrived in Kyiv from UNICEF. According to the local water supply operator Kyivvodokanal, autonomous energy generation facilities will be used in the event of a blackout and have already been distributed among the capital's pumping stations.
