Since the beginning of Russia's war against humanity, this was the first visit by high-ranking US officials to Ukraine. Austin and Blinken updated the agreements between the states and also expressed their support and confidence in the positive outcome of the war for Ukraine. As the US secretary of defense stated, Ukraine can definitely win the war against the death that Russia has brought to our land. To do this, Ukraine needs the right weapons and the support of reliable partners, like the pro-Ukrainian countries of the European Union and the United States.
“In terms of their ability to win — the first step in winning is believing that you can win. And so, they believe that we can win. We believe that we — they — can win if they have the right equipment, the right support, and we're going to do everything we can and continue to do everything we can,” Austin told to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Antony Blinken also said the key phrase, which is an indicator of the stable majority of Ukraine: "Russia is failing, Ukraine is succeeding." And all progressive countries agree with him.
"We want Russia to be weakened to the point where it can't do what it did when it invaded Ukraine," Lloyd Austin added during a meeting with the Ukrainian establishment.
