The Ministry of the economy of Ukraine announces the launch of a new program to support veterans and business development in Ukraine. From April 10, each participant in the hostilities in Ukraine has the right to apply through Diia to open an enterprise. In turn, the Ministry will provide the applicant with a grant from $6.836 to $27.346 (at the rate of ₴36.57 for $1). The spouses of veterans can also count on a grant: the state provides up to $13.673 to start a family business.
Grant calculator:
- $6.836 — veteran/injured during the war. Condition for business — a creation of 1 workplace;
- $13.673 — veteran's relative/war-injured person. Condition for business — a creation of 2 jobs;
- $27.346 — veteran/war Injured person who has been an individual entrepreneur for at least 3 years. The condition for the business is the creation of 4 jobs, 2 of which will be received by veterans or a person who received a disability due to the war.
Funds are provided on a 70/30 basis, where the applicant invests 30% of the funds and 70% — by the state.
