The Third Port Opened in Ukraine

As part of the fight against the global food crisis, Ukraine managed to agree on the unblocking of another port in the Black sea

The minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov said that within the framework of the grain initiative in Ukraine, the 3rd port in the Black sea, South, was unblocked. Earlier, after the Istanbul meeting, the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk were opened, from which the Ukrainian agricultural product is already exported. A working system from a corridor of 3 ports — Odesa, Chornomorsk and South, allows Ukraine to reach 3 million tons of agricultural exports within 30-31 days. And within the next 2 weeks, the sea export traffic will be 3-5 vessels per day. We remind you that Ukraine is working on expanding the Istanbul agreements: it is planning to export grain and metal.

According to Kubrakov, the ship Sacura has already left the Yuzhny port; the destination is Italy. The minister says that his department is doing everything possible to ensure that the grain corridor runs smoothly and without tragedies.
