“UIA” Launches Flights to Tel Aviv from Kharkiv and Dnipro

In November 2021, the “Ukraine International Airlines” will start operating flights to Tel Aviv from Kharkiv and Dnipro airports

This was reported to Ukrinform by the company's press service.

It is noted that the air carrier has decided to expand the network of flights on this route, given the high demand for flights to Israel from the regions of Ukraine.

Thus, starting from November 8, the airline will start operating flights Kharkiv (HRK) - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Kharkiv (HRK) every Monday and every Wednesday. And starting from November 9, passengers will be able to book direct flights on the route Dnipro (DNK) - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Dnipro (DNK) on Tuesdays.

In addition, the airline will continue to operate direct flights to Tel Aviv from Kyiv and Odesa: Odesa (ODS) - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Odesa (ODS) - every Thursday and Saturday; Kyiv (KBP) - Tel Aviv (TLV) - Kyiv (KBP) — 2 flights daily.

In addition, UIA is considering the prospect of resuming a direct flight between Lviv and Tel Aviv. The airline also reminds about the possibility to get to/from Tel Aviv (TLV) from the regions of Ukraine by transit flights with partners through Boryspil airport.

As Ukrinform reported, UIA published in October a list of regular and charter routes that passengers will be able to use during the winter navigation of 2021-2022.

This expansion of geography and number of flights is presumably due to the recently signed Agreement on the Common Aviation Area between EU and Ukraine. Common Ukraine - EU aviation space will create conditions for new commercial opportunities for the airlines of Ukraine and the EU member states, and will also help to attract investments in the aviation sector of Ukraine.
