On April 5, during the meeting of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mateusz Morawiecki in Warsaw, were reached agreements on the joint production of 125 mm tank shells according to NATO standards. Production participants will be the Ukrainian defence concern Ukroboronprom and the similar Polish concern Grupa Zbrojeniowa. Since the military production of Ukraine is a target for Russian drones and missiles, the production will be located in Poland, and the technologies and specialists will be provided by the Ukrainian side.
This is already the second defence agreement between Ukraine and Poland, the second Ukroboronprom agreement with NATO, and the 2nd Ukroboronprom production abroad.
