The state defence concern Ukroboronprom, in cooperation with NATO countries and technologies, has launched the production of 122-mm shells. This type of ammunition is used in work with D-30 howitzers (range — 15.400 m) and self-propelled guns 2S1 Carnation (range of destruction of an enemy target — 15.200 m).
The exact country in which Ukroboronprom launched production is unknown. Nevertheless, the first batch of shells has already been received in Ukraine and sent to the front. In addition, Ukroboronprom manufactured 120 mm mines and 125 mm tank shells. These shells are designed and manufactured by Ukrainians.
We remind you that NATO and the EU are working hard to provide Ukraine with artillery shells until it wins the war.
