The office of the president of Ukraine announced the return to our homeland of historically significant cultural objects that Russian invaders stole from the occupied territories. This week, president Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited America on several important missions. In particular, he took Ukrainian artefacts that the USA confiscated after illegal importation into the country. In honour of this, a ceremony was held to return cultural property. The head of Ukraine attended the event, ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova and US secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. The parties transferred Scythian Akinakite swords and signed the relevant certificates. Now, in Ukraine will return historically important objects for Ukrainian culture dating from the VI century BC.
Zelenskyy thanked for cooperation and the return of history, which Russia has been trying to destroy for over 9 years.
