Ukrainian doctors inspire. In the war conditions, each of them continues to devote themselves to his work and save other people's lives, often sacrificing their own. Today, doctors work under blackout, occupation, and shelling and often die in the line of duty.
On January 9, an operation was carried out in Ukraine to remove an unexploded VOG grenade from the body of a Ukrainian soldier. One of the leading AFU surgeons, Andrii Verba, performed the operation in the presence of 2 sappers and without the use of electrocoagulation, since the grenade could detonate at any second.
The emergency operation was successful. The soldier is alive and sent to rehabilitation.
