Andrea Bocelli Adopted a Wounded Ukrainian Dog

Italian opera singer opened his heart and home for Jack — a dog from the Kharkiv region

Dog Jack barely survived the occupation of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian military found a dog after the city's liberation and clearance from Russian weapons. Jack was wounded in the back by shrapnel and almost lost his hearing. Fortunately, the splinter wound did not stare at the nerves, and the dog can live a full life. Especially after he was given asylum by Italian singer Bocelli. This story of happiness and continuity was told by the deputy of the Kyiv administration Oles Maliarevych.

"I told about Jack to my American friend. A few days later, Jack met with Amede, who immediately offered to find a new safe home for Jack. And found," wrote Maliarevych on Facebook.

The new owner of the dog, who had lived in occupation since February 27, became a famous Italian singer. Bocelli wanted to take Jack into his family. So volunteers organized a transfer of the good boy from Ukraine to Italy. Jack has already met with his new family. Now the tenor and Jack are already sharing photos and videos.

Oles Maliarevych thanked the artist for his good heart and wished the dog a long time in life.
