On September 5, was held a concluding conversation about cooperation between Boris Johnson and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"It was an honour to work with you. The UK will continue to support Ukraine at every step because we know that your security is our security and your freedom is our freedom," said the former prime minister of the UK to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Boris Johnson also said that he is leaving the post of head of state, but he does not cease to be a friend to Ukraine and hopes for reciprocity. The former British prime minister openly supported the Ukrainian army, the people, and the president. Johnson became one of the few who openly criticized Putin and his aggression against other countries.
The president of Ukraine thanked him for this and expressed his hope for further cooperation.
"Had a summing up a conversation with Boris Johnson in his current capacity. On behalf of all Ukrainian people, I thanked him for his personal bravery, principles, and major contribution to countering RF's aggression. I look forward to cooperation with a great friend of Ukraine in a new status," wrote Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Twitter.
