The former deputy of the administration of the city of Izium, Mykyta Karakai, said that the Russian army used chemical weapons against the administrative centre and the liberated villages. All victims have already been tested.
"On the Izium territory, the orcs used chemical weapons. According to my information, the charges with the substance were fired from the Soviet Grad multiple-launch rocket systems. The gas formed after the explosions spread on the ground," Mykyta Karakay.
According to the ex-deputy, all the victims have the same symptoms: redness of the eyes, nausea, painful vomiting, breathing problems, and loss of consciousness.
It is known that installations of that Grad type are designed to use shells with chemical weapons 9M23 and 9M21.
"Blood samples were taken from the victims, clothes were sent for examination. Information on the liberated villages is being specified," Karakay.
We remind you that yesterday the offensive operation of the Russians began in eastern Ukraine, particularly Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv. The Russians are trying to blockade Kharkiv and deploy Tor anti-aircraft missile divisions. Closer to the border of Ukraine, the enemies placed the C-400 and C-300. Artillery positions are being created in the Izium region and on the banks of the Seversky Donets.
