On May 8, Iryna Vereshchuk, minister for the reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, reported that all civilians had been evacuated from the metallurgical plant Azovstal in Mariupol. Despite the difficulties of evacuation, civilians are safe in unoccupied areas in Ukraine.
This means that the Ukrainian heroes have remained in the factory themselves, and probably in the coming days, they will be attacked by the Russian occupiers. Therefore, the Ukrainian people are concerned about the fate of the heroes. Ukraine stands for immediate assistance with weapons and human forces or evacuation of soldiers. It concerns the wounded defenders of Ukraine.
On May 8, fighters from Azovstal had the opportunity to communicate with people during an online conference. Ukrainians were able to hear the commander of the regiment Azov Denys Prokopenko and the deputy commander, captain Sviatoslav Palamar from the hottest point in Ukraine.
According to the fighters, there are only 4 options for the rescue. First — is death from bombs or starvation. Recall that in Mariupol, a large-scale humanitarian disaster. Russian military loot shops and do not allow anyone to enter the city.
The second is to escape. But for this, you need to forget about your duty and oath that you are a Ukrainian warrior.
The third scenario is to surrender to Russian soldiers.
Fourth — fight to the last drop of sweat and blood. Only this option will give the Ukrainians the opportunity to live and hope for an end to the war.
The fighters also stated that they needed more guns and ammunition and the right decisions of the commander-in-chief. The fighters focus on the fact that it is impossible to let the defense fail in Berdyansk, Melitopol, and Kherson.
It is also essential to pick up the wounded from Azovstal. Due to the lack of medical supplies, the wounds fester, slowly killing the defenders.
Denys Prokopenko and Sviatoslav Palamar estimate that 25.000 people died in Mariupol. This is one of the primary evidence that the Russians brought hell to earth. They did terrible things in a peaceful country.
