Motherland is the highest sculpture in Ukraine and the 5th most giant statue in the world. An all-welded structure looks like a woman holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. The shield will be changed by August 24, 2023 – Independence Day of Ukraine. Now on the metal shield is a fixed sickle and hammer – symbols of the fallen apart USSR.
The sculpture is a symbol of the indestructibility of Ukraine and its ability to defend itself. The Motherland is an essential symbol of the culture of the country. Therefore, the big business proposed to implement a project to reconstruct the monument – symbols of the USSR will replace the coat of arms of Ukraine. European technologies were used to make the new metal symbol. The cost of the Trident of Motherland project is almost $800.000.
The investors of the project were the joint stock company of Ukraine Naftogaz, the first neobank of the country Monobank, banks Oschadbank, Pumb, PrivatBank, express delivery service Nova Poshta, ATB store chain, Ukrainian Agrarian Holding, Metinvest, filling complex WOG and others.
Work on the installation of the trident has already begun. They are planned to be completed by the Independence Day of Ukraine. Such investments are important for cultural changes in the country and the strengthening of national dignity. In addition, modern Ukrainians see in the emblem of the country the encrypted word "Will," which strengthens the difference between the socialist republics and independent Ukraine.
