On May 28, the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih celebrated its 247 years of foundation. More than 600 thousand residents and settlers from the hot spots of Ukraine wanted to remember this day positively, despite the sirens. However, in the evening, the occupiers fired several missiles at the birthday city.
According to eyewitnesses, the entire town heard the explosions. As it turned out later, at least two rockets hit an important industrial plant for the Dnipro region and Ukraine. The head of the military administration Kryvyi Rih reported that there were no casualties among the population. However, the fire could not be extinguished until May 29.
It is worth noting that the Russian "congratulations" missiles become a tradition. Earlier, the occupiers inflicted massive blows on Ukraine after the victory of the Ukrainian group at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
It is also worth noting that the Kryvyi Rih for the occupying power and its soldiers became an obsession. The invaders have not been able to enter the territory of the Dnipro region for more than 2 months and advance to its first big city — Kryvyi Rih. Moreover, the city with a 247-year history is the homeland of the incumbent president of Ukraine.
