On October 9, the minister of defence of Slovakia decided to continue the party in honour of the anniversary of the bunker tyrant and announced an additional supply of Zuzana 2 howitzers working with 155 mm shells to Ukraine.
"To mark his 70th birthday, we delivered yet another gift to aggressor Putin. Another 2 new Zuzana 2 howitzers are now in Ukraine (and much more to come) #WeStandWithUkraine," Jaro Nad on Twitter.
"This is a commercial contract under which we have already delivered 4 firearms out of a total of 8. So now, 2 more and 2 more will soon go to Ukraine. Putin received several gifts over the weekend, join us. And once again, we wish you all the best, good luck — UKRAINE!" the minister added on Facebook.
In early summer, Slovakia and Ukraine officially agreed to supply 8 units of Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery mounts. In August, Ukraine received the first 4 howitzers, 2 more are expected shortly.
Earlier, Denmark, Slovakia, Norway and Germany agreed on a joint contribution to the production and transfer of the Ukrainian Zuzana 2. Moreover, Denmark refused to receive its French-made Caesars for the sake of an early victory for Ukraine.
