Ukraine Nationalized 172 Gas Stations of the Traitor of the Motherland

The network of gas stations ceased its activities because, according to the results of an audit by the Security Service of Ukraine, it turned out that the network owners evaded paying taxes. The total cost of money that Glusco filling stations did not pay to the country is ₴240 million. It is known that since 2017 this network has belonged to structures directly related to Viktor Medvedchuk.

The transfer of filling stations to the state will become a tool to overcome the shortage of fuel in the consumer market of Ukraine. We remind you that the law on a clear definition of a person subject to sanctions and the procedure for nationalizing the property of sanctioned persons entered into force on May 12.

The portal of the government of Ukraine published information about the court decision on the withdrawal of the gas station network and its transfer to the management of Naftogaz — the state company of Ukraine for the extraction, transportation, and processing of oil/natural gas.

"The position here is clear: the assets of Russia and related companies in Ukraine should go to our state and work for the benefit of our country and all Ukrainians," prime minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

Also in 2021, the SBU seized the corporate rights of 28 legal entities that own Glusco gas stations and tank farms. It is known that these persons, anticipating the rapid opening of their criminal acts, tried to transfer assets worth more than ₴700 million to other people.
