It became known that in honour of the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine's independence, Baykar Makina donated a Bayraktar TV2 drone to the Ukrainian army. The CEO of Baykar currently lives in Kyiv and is most involved in the launch of Baykar production in Ukraine.
On January 25, 2023, Baykar also donated 2 of its drones to the General directorate of intelligence of Ukraine. Moreover, last year, the company donated its drones to those countries that raised funds for the transfer of Bayraktar TV2 to Ukraine: Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine.
