The prime minister of Lithuania, Ingrida Šimonytė, reported on the government's decision regarding the objects in Ukraine, which will be rebuilt on the initiative of Lithuania.
"Ukrainians are already rebuilding their country & we must help. Lithuanian government approved the first emergency reconstruction projects in Ukraine. Lithuania will set up a mobile housing facility & rebuild a school in Borodianka, a kindergarten in Irpin, & a bridge over the Trubizh river in the Kyiv region," prime minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė.
Lithuania is already engaged in constructing a mobile settlement in Borodianka for those who lost their homes due to the destructive Russian war. According to the minister, the end of construction of the settlement is planned for the end of 2022. The estimated investment in the project is approximately €1 million.
Completion of the reconstruction of the bridge over the Trubizh River, which connects the Kyiv and Sumy regions, is scheduled for the spring of 2023. The approximate amount of investment is €2 million.
The school in Borodianka is currently being prepared for conservation for further restoration. The approximate amount of necessary investments is €4.5 million. There is a possibility that the degree of destruction of the school does not allow it to be reconstructed. Then it will have to be demolished and rebuilt.
"The proposal is to start conservation work this year and reconstruction next year," Ingrida Šimonytė.
The restoration of the kindergarten in Irpen will begin in September and will last for about a year. The approximate amount of investment is €3.3 million.
"All these objects were selected with our partners in Ukraine," Ingrida Šimonytė.
We remind you that Coca-Cola will invest in reconstructing a kindergarten in Bohdanivka village, and Rolls-Royce will restore a hospital in the Sumy region.
