On October 4, at a meeting of the Conservative party of the British parliament, foreign secretary James Cleverly made several statements regarding the determination of the United Kingdom to help Ukraine until it wins the war — "until this war is won."
"We will support them until their territorial integrity is restored," said James Cleverly in Birmingham.
"We will support them until the last Russian tank is dragged away by the last Ukrainian tractor." It is worth recalling here that this is a reference to these incidents: Ukrainians went out in villages against a Russian tank, took away the vehicle and towed it with tractors to their household, or the Russians themselves abandoned the tanks, and the Ukrainians took them away and handed them over to the army of Ukraine. This is even dedicated to one of the postal stamps of the state operator of Ukraine Ukrposhta.
"We need to have the strategic endurance to see this through to the end." He added: "Because if we don't, we send a message to every potential aggressor that our resolve is fragile."
"And we cannot, we must not, we will not send that message out into the world.
"And if you are listening to this speech Mr Putin, or Mr Lavrov, let me be clear: we will never recognize the annexation of Luhansk, or Donetsk, or Kherson, or Zaporizhzhia, or Crimea."
We remind you that Liz Truss, speaking to the Conservatives, also stated that the UK will help Ukraine as long as the war that Ukraine wins lasts.
