DTEK has presented a service designed to support employment for veterans with disabilities. The tool, called MOZHU, helps HR teams match available vacancies with a person’s medical restrictions, region, professional experience and skills.
The system is intended to reduce the gap between formal hiring processes and the real needs of people returning from war. Instead of focusing only on limitations, it helps evaluate what work a person can perform safely and where their experience may be useful.
Technology for reintegration
According to the company, an HR specialist enters data from a medical conclusion along with location and enterprise information. The algorithm then analyzes compatible vacancies and suggests options that fit the candidate’s abilities. DTEK says the service may be useful not only for the company, but also for the state, employment centers, non-governmental organizations and other businesses.
Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Yuliia Kirillova stressed that employment is one of the key conditions for returning to civilian life. DTEK Academy director Olena Semych added that the system evaluates potential rather than only restrictions.
For Ukraine, this is not just a corporate initiative. As more veterans come back to the labor market, employers will need tools that combine accessibility, occupational safety and real career paths. Digital matching can help, but it must remain tied to human support and responsible workplace adaptation.
